My greatest hope, oh Lord, I pray
To help someone along the way
To live, each day, to be a part
Of helping someone know Your heart.
This hope, I have, so deep within
To help someone be free from sin
To help someone who knows the way
Grow even stronger day by day.
I pray, no stumbling block to be
Lord, help me to be more like Thee
That I may, through Your word inspire
A soul for Christ, that's my desire.
Lord, teach me daily, help me learn
To show all others my concern
It's my desire that I'll not cease
To help someone find joy and peace.
